The Crack of Dawn

Why, just why is it that I can never, ever find a person who:

  1. Can think logically
  2. Can think analytically
  3. Can think
  4. Can envision
  5. Is passionate about whatever they do
  6. Is not afraid to experiment
  7. Believes in “The journey is its own reward” [to an extent]
  8. Has interests that match with mine
  9. Is not a cheap bastard
  10. Is not a darned freeloader

Just Why?

Why do I have to endure watching people who don’t know their Java from their JavaScript from their applets be more successful than me?

But deep down, something tells me the day will come when social niceties and short-term memory will cease to be measures of how good a person is, when I will be among people who are not driven by petty jealousies, or want of petty recognition, when passion is all that that matters.
